![]() ![]() Why are so many files being modified to accomplish those tasks? Especially in the Metadata and Media folders. This all happened from one day, watching a few videos, and having 3 new videos added and scanned. Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Logs - 47 files Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Media - 660 files Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Caches - 673 files Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Metadata - 2316 files Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache - 312 files An average day for me has a list like this: I'm trying to optimize my backups, and I notice that Plex seems to do a LOT of updates to specific folders under Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server, even when nothing is watched or new shows are loaded.
